Short and intensive - Discover yourself and your mission!

Are you just finished with school, and have time for a ministry trip? Are you a Bible college student who needs an internship position? Do you believe you want to work for a while in missions, getting to know people of other cultures, discovering yourself and expanding your horizons?

  • Calling-Conversation
  • Mission Crash Course
  • Sending

First, we invite you to get to know us. And we want to get to know you personally, too. This is the only way you'll wind up in the right place. We'd love to have you visit us here in Wüstenrot. But we can also begin to get to know you in a telephone call. Then together we'll look for the right short-term opportunity for you, or find out what's important for your dream experience.

The Crash Course is a weekend of preparation for your ministry trip. You'll learn many things about finances and about living in a foreign culture, and you'll hear important ideas for your short-term ministry. You'll share motivating and inspiring days with the other short-termers of Kontaktmission – from a variety of different countries!

We will gladly plan with you a “sending worship service” in your home church. This can be with a sermon or a short presentation of KM's work. We'd love to be a part of it!

Mission Crash Course Weekend 2014 - equipped for ministry

Different callings, age differences, varied personalities, from disparate cultures. But one goal: come closer to fulfilling God's calling in their lives, and then blooming and growing in that. Allowing themselves to be moved. It's a weekend on which they were prepared for their ministry to people and, above all, before God.

This was the 2014 Mission Crash Course Weekend, May 23-25, with 20 participants from various lands. They were challenged by presentations on subjects concerning intercultural life and work, calling, communication, culture shock, missional living, and more, all for the purpose of preparation for their short- and medium-term ministries. It was an exciting weekend, and one that we hope has long-lasting effects!
