20th Anniversary of Kontaktmission Ukraine and the Kremenchug Bible College
In the midst of Ukraine’s worst crisis since World War II, Kontaktmission Ukraine and the Kremenchug Bible College celebrated their 20th anniversaries in October 2014.
In 1994 the vision of the first Kontaktmission workers in Ukraine became reality: that vision was to establish a local Bible college. The first class began in the fall of that year. Since then, over 800 students have graduated, and the Bible College now has 150 students, who are studying in a variety of emphases. The College has a significant influence on the training of many leaders and KM team members around the entire region.
In addition to the Bible College, Kontaktmission also began evangelistic activities, which led to the establishment of a new church in spring 1995. As of now, the KM-Ukraine team counts 34 team members from Ukraine, Belarus, Latvia, Germany and USA. Kontaktmission-Ukraine is involved in over 20 projects, church plants, and other programs. In cooperation with other organizations and churches, Kontaktmission is helping Christians in Ukraine to carry out the Great Commission inside and outside their country.
