Dr. Ramon Flick
As a missionary, I bring the good news primarily to the children of different tribes in northern Namibia (e.g., Ovahimba, Ovazemba, Herero).
After my two-year training as a missionary in Uganda (2016-18) and my subsequent work as a missionary in
the remote mountain people, the Ik (2018-19), I set up a children's home in southern Ethiopia (2020-21). There, children of pastoralist (shepherd) families were given the opportunity to go to school, have a safe place to grow up and gain an understanding of the Bible.
Currently, I'm in Namibia, starting a children's home (Papa Ramon’s HopeKids) and doing frequent children's ministry events in remote villages in order to reach the unreached. Bringing children closer to god is an investment for the future. Often times, children are very open to the gospel and serve as God's tools to save others.
… to trust in God and let him guide me to expand his kingdom. It's a great privilege that God is using me for this; I will continue to serve our God with joy.
… that so many people in this world have not yet heard anything about God. I would like to use my skills to be active as a missionary where difficult living conditions put others off.
