Change is a part of life and is being accelerated by digitalization and globalization. According to William Bridges’ model, it involves letting go, transformation, and a new beginning. Dieter Trefz sees this as a God-given opportunity for mission. Martin Weese emphasizes that God’s kingdom and our shared mission are at the center. Change requires trust, a willingness to learn, and mutual support, and it opens the door to spiritual growth.

Cross Cultural Job Connection (CCJC)
Connecting Christian healthcare workers from Kenya and India with Germany

Cross Cultural Job Connection (CCJC) connects qualified Christian professionals from abroad with employers in Germany and supports them professionally, personally, and spiritually. Currently, around 40 nursing professionals and trainees from Kenya and India are being prepared for their assignments. Professionals and employers make the decision to collaborate consciously and independently. At the same time, the possibility remains open for participants to return to their home countries later. The project, which was initiated by Kontaktmission, is now run independently.

Kontaktmission’s Qualification Course took place in Wüstenrot from 11th to 15th September. Twelve participants were on site and just as many joined online from all over the world. In addition to sessions, we got to know each other personally and in our projects, encouraged each other and prayed together. The diversity of passions that God has placed in everyone’s heart was particularly impressing. Through this enthusiasm, we can reach others for God and show His heart.

Conference
Refuel. Exchange ideas. Together.

Once a year, a conference is organised for all coworkers. You will spend three days with colleagues and friends, exchange ideas, take a deep breath and recharge your batteries, and receive training on various topics – an important milestone in the mission year!

The next staff conference will take place from 14th – 16th April 2025.
