Kontaktmission is a networked mission movement empowering Christians worldwide to live their God-given callings, and sending them to build His church.
Kontaktmission has been active since 1979. The worldwide missionary movement consists of 12 regional entities with 433 co-workers from 43 nations in 62 countries. We from the German entity are also part of this movement with more than 220 co-workers.

Base team
Here you can get to know the base team in Wüstenrot. We are responsible for all co-workers who belong to the German entity. Through our support, we want to free them up for their work and strengthen their backs. Internationally, we work in close co-operation with the other regional entities of Kontaktmission.
Hello, I'm Martin and together with the leadership team I'm responsible for ensuring that Kontaktmission continues to develop dynamically, innovatively and with Jesus at the centre. The whole world should have the opportunity to hear about and experience Jesus. That is what drives us. I love encouraging people, developing new ideas with them and bringing them into reality.
I am Andreas.
I'm in charge of public relations and am part of the management team responsible for organisational development, public relations, Missionkids and KM learning.
Since 2012, I have loved helping to creatively shape the dynamic development of Kontaktmission. It is a great gift to be able to lead with courage and listening and to be part of God's redemptive miracle on this earth with a great team.
I am Christian.
As part of the leadership team, I am the contact person for all HR-related topics - from applications and employment to secondment issues. In the HR team, we ensure that our employees receive full support and feel well looked after.
It is a real privilege for me to use my strength and energy to make a contribution to God's kingdom. I want to support the missionaries so that they can dedicate themselves to their calling.

I'm Lea. I am involved in four areas of the base team. I'm part of the short-term team and enable people to get a taste of the mission for up to a year. The missionary children are also close to my heart. I run an online meeting with the 8 to 12-year-olds and am the contact person for the parents. I am also responsible for public relations and training the missionaries.
I love the variety of my tasks and am excited that God is using my gifts, experiences and passions here.
Hello, I'm Jürgen.
I've been working in the base team at Kontaktmission since 2013. I love diversity and am even able to support it in many areas - be it HR, short-term, public relations, accounting, administration or management.
I love the fact that I can help build God's kingdom and that he can use me without me having studied theology or living abroad.
I am Susanne,
As part of the base team, one of my tasks is to keep the rooms in the house clean. I am happy that I can live out the calling that God has given me. I love the fact that I can contribute to creating a good atmosphere for the staff and guests.
Hello, I'm Corinna.
In the Base team, I love working with my team to publicise the diverse work of our employees and their exciting projects. I do this, for example, by putting together our magazine, weltblick, developing our website and sending out a newsletter. I am especially passionate about encouraging people to live out their personal calling. That's why I go to trade fairs or organise our mission conference. It motivates me to be an enabler - supporting mission in a practical way is a real privilege and a meaningful task for me.
Hi, I'm Benjamin,
I work in software development and support digital processes. My goal is to support our missionaries and administration in the digital world in the best possible way. I'm particularly keen to make our processes more efficient and to develop digital solutions that make our daily work easier and better.
Hello, I'm Debora.
I spent many years working abroad as a missionary. In 2021, I joined the short-term area and also accompany long-term missionaries.
It inspires me how God goes his way with each individual. I see it as a privilege to be able to accompany people for a part of their lives that is often formative for the rest of their lives.
Hi, I'm Evelyn and I've been with Kontaktmission since 2021. Since 2025 I am now in the base team and the area of sendings. I enjoy supporting missionaries on their journey and supporting them with some of the administrative work so that they can focus on their ministry. Together we can serve God and keep building God's kingdom.

I work on the utility bills in the base team.
This task gives me the opportunity to gain an insight into the diverse and inspiring work of missionaries around the world - and I find that really fascinating! Knowing that I can make a small contribution to this big picture with my work fills me with joy and gratitude.

I'm Detlef and I spend most of my time travelling, either for preaching services (church services, camps, seminars, training courses) or to present Kontaktmission and to talk to people. I love helping people to find their calling or to live more effectively in this calling. Another area of responsibility is to be part of the staff support team.
Hello, I'm Harald.
As ‘Public Relations Assistant’, I prepare the prayer letter six times a year. To do this, I ask employees about their prayer and thanksgiving requests. I also help with our magazine ‘weltblick’ by asking new employees for a brief introduction. I do this work out of love for Christ - in the knowledge that Prayer is the central event in the kingdom of God. Without prayer, nothing works, but absolutely nothing.

I'm Steffi. As part of the grassroots team, I'm responsible for donations management, project controlling and accounting, among other things. That's why I mainly juggle with numbers and answer questions from employees, donors and organisations relating to this area.
I find it very rewarding to get to know the people and projects ‘behind the numbers’ - that's the special added value of my work (and our coffee machine... without it, nothing works 😉).

I work online from Paraguay and I'm in the accounting department. I am mainly responsible for the bank statements and incoming donations.
I love being part of what God is doing around the world. I am motivated by the thought that even small tasks in the background contribute to building God's kingdom.
I am Clarissa and as part of the HR team I am mainly responsible for salaries and the associated tasks.
It is an honour for me to do this work for a missionary organisation and the individual missionaries and thus to be involved in HIS BIG MISSION from the back office.
Hi, I am Dagmar
I joined Kontaktmission in May 2019 and am mainly responsible for coordinating Tobias Kley's travel service. Later, I joined the short-term area, in which I help to enable young people to work in Romania. The organisation and office work in these two areas are the things I enjoy most. It's great to be able to use these skills for the kingdom of God.
I'm Christoph,
I work as an IT system administrator. One of my tasks is to look after the network technology, servers and work equipment at Kontaktmission and keep them running.
I am motivated by my relationship with Jesus and the desire to help others live out their calling as missionaries of Kontaktmission.

My heart beats for supporting people in their calling from God and creating spaces and structures for growth and development. Alongside international and German networks, I help skilled workers and trainees from overseas to integrate professionally and personally in Germany. It excites me to take off as a team and the body of Christ, to equip missionaries and to build God's kingdom globally. Hello, I'm Alexandra.
Caring, encouragement and networking are matters close to my heart. This is expressed for Kontaktmission staff in various areas, e.g. through mail for births, anniversaries and at the end of service, in personal contact after half a year in the project and afterwards, through weekly women's prayer meetings, as well as international KM women's meetings.
I am enthusiastic about JESUS, who is THE life and a strong Saviour. GOD is THE motivation for me to use my own experiences in life for HIM in my service to people.
